Welcome to My World!!!
My life has been an interesting path of ups and downs and incredible joys and indescribable sadness. Through all of it, I thank God for a Godly Mother and strong Husband who have kept our family on the right path. Through this blog I hope to reflect and share the memories of my life so that my children and grandchildren will also reflect upon them and gain strength and inspiration in their lives.
My mother! What a blessing she is to me! I think of Proverbs 31 ,1-31. She is all of these things. Her strength and dignity do not come from amazing achievements but from reverence to the Lord. Her beauty comes from her strength of character(even though she is gorgeous on the outside too!) Proverbs 31:28 says "Her children stand and bless her". She is kind and giving....happy and funny...and loves me no matter what! True devotion I cannot repay!
My Husband-Ronnie---my sweet husband....high school sweethearts....Pop Schneider told me he was the one the first time he met him and he was right! Ronnie has evolved from a quiet, structured guy into a lively, fun, "controlled" risk taker(maybe it was out of self defense of living with me) He has continually gotten better with age each year and each new adventure we travel through. He has been a Godly example for our children and has treated me as the scripture writes in Song of Songs--4:8-12. He has made me feel as though I was his "treasure. his bride, his secluded spring, his hidden fountain." I have been blessed! The Lord was guiding me at such a young age of 18 to "choose wisely". Thank you Lord!
My Children- God has blessed me with three very different children. Each one an original in their own way.
Jenna- Sweet Jen...she had the misfortune of being the first born! And I was so young! She was our guinea pig.....our test monkey......But I do believe the Lord would say "Well Done!" to us even so. She is my creative doer...always busy...in charge of many things. She is a Godly woman who loves her family above all and always strives to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord. What a gift to young parents she has been!
Josh- He is my hard worker with a soft heart and a loud bark at times. He loves his family above all and should probably get "Father of the year". He sometimes carries the troubles of the world on his shoulders but is learning daily to Trust in the Lord in ALL Things. I love the quiet talks that we have and the touch of his hug!
Sarah--My "oops!" baby! What would I do without her? She is my "homing pigeon". She wakes me in the morning with her call and puts me to sleep at night after she shares her day with me. Creative too....she is a blessing to her children and her friendship is a blessing to me. She takes me as I am and for that I am so grateful! I love our "coffee chats" and our meetings at Walmart.
These are the people in my life that mean the very most to me. I cherish them all and cannot even imagine life without them.
